Right at start of May was the Thruxton race meeting; always a tough event where tyres are critical. We had a good weekend with two podiums. At the end of the month I had my first race of the season when I did a race at Donington with Nigel Ainge in his Honda Integra. In the Sports/Saloons race I didn't do any qualifying, so started from the back of the grid and got through to second, passing 18 cars on the first lap!
