The 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car season resumes this weekend after a six week summer break as it heads to the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk for the sixth round of the season. Pirtek Racing and driver Andrew Jordan will return to the track still fresh from their victory at the previous round at Croft where they took a dominant lights-to-flag maiden win, a feat they aim to repeat.

The high-speed Snetterton Circuit is next on the season's calendar with Jordan and the Pirtek team raring to go after a productive test day at the circuit two weeks ago. The 21 year old from Staffordshire was sixth during the morning session where the team worked hard on development of the car and the TOCA powered turbo engine in preparation for the long straights at the Norfolk Circuit. Technical issues cut short the day's running and Jordan was unable to participate in the afternoon session, but the team still head to the next round confident of the potential in the car.

Jordan commented ahead of the weekend, "The last few weeks have been great for us - we've had time to reflect on the win and how far we've come as a new team with Pirtek onboard this season, as well as time to continue development of the car. We felt at the beginning of the year it would take us a few races to get to grips with the set up of the new engine, and now with the win behind us we have the momentum for the rest of the season. We're only half way through with five race weekends still to go and there are still plenty of points still up for grabs.

"I've ran well at Snetterton in the past and I quite enjoy racing at the circuit, it's a really fast flowing track with huge long straights, which give you some really good action. I think the power of the engine could work well for us there but we will keep our fingers crossed for cooler weather because the heat affects the performance of the Turbo engine as well as how well we use our tyres during the races. I think we are in for a good weekend though, we certainly won't be resting on our laurels."

The BTCC cars will hit the track on Saturday morning for the first of two practice sessions, before the qualifying session at 3:55pm, Sunday will see three races live on ITV4 starting at midday.
