Eurotech Racing is a well-established race team based in the Midlands, founded by Mike Jordan in 1987 when the team started out preparing Porsches. With a long career spanning many forms of motorsport the team is most notably known for their success in the British Touring Car Championship, including winning the Independent Teams Championship in 2012 and an outright Driver’s Championship win in 2013 with Andrew Jordan at the wheel.
2015 saw a new era at Eurotech as Jeff Smith took over the reigns as owner/driver in the British Touring Car team which by now had grown to running two cars with Martin Depper at the wheel of the second Honda Civic.
During 2016 the team continued to expand, moving in to new larger state-of-the-art premises in Tamworth, updating to three new Honda Civic Type R cars and running a third driver Daniel Lloyd alongside the Smith and Depper line-up. Eurotech also extended the operation into MINI Challenge running three turbo-charged JCW class cars, driven by Jeff Smith, Brett Smith and Jo Polley, acheiving three wins in their maiden season.
Entering in to 2017 the new look BTCC line-up consists of Jeff Smith and Jack Goff in the Swindon TOCA engine powered Honda Civic Type R's, the exciting new pairing are confident of bringing some silverware back to Eurotech this season.
